~HCCS Fundraisers~
We have a wonderful Fundraising Committee that works throughout the year to research ideas that will help our school in reaching our financial goals. Please feel free to share any ideas you may have that could be helpful to our school!
HCCS Book Store:
This year, we will be moving our book store out of the library & into the school office. It will be fully stocked with all sorts of neat school supplies & novelties. Students will be able to purchase items during school hours. Prices range from .10 to $2.50 each. Students can purchase folders, crayons, markers, scented pencils, cool erasers, and more!
September 25th - Putt 4 FUNds
Students will putt 1,000 holes at S&K Dairy on Ste Rte 50 West in Hoagland (just West of Hillsboro). Competition will be between each grade level. Grand prize will be awarded to the student who collects the most donations. WINNER WAS MARAH GRIFFITH, A THIRD GRADER IN MRS. CAREY'S CLASS!! We putted 1,700 holes & raised $2200.00 in all. :)
December 1st - 18th Holiday Fair/Store
Students will be able to purchase gifts for family members, friends & beloved pets. Prices will range from .25 to $6.00. Teacher's will visit the store with their students at scheduled times.
March 26th - Read-A-Thon
Students will take pledges and will spend the day reading & being read to.
There will be visits from authors & book illustrators. A grand prize will be given to the student who collects the most pledges.
May 10th - HCCS Cookbook Sales
We will begin collecting recipes from students & their families in late January. These books will have at least 150 recipes in them & are being printed by Morris Press Cookbooks. Price will be $10.00 each. Don't forget to order extras!! These will make great gifts :)
